Last week on VRFocus we told you about how Secret Sauce, the organisers behind the annual VRTGO Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) conference and expo had teamed up with UK-based developer nDreams – as well as digital entertainment organisation Ukie, graphics company NVIDIA and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) in a VR related competition. The winners of which would receive mentoring and promotion at this year’s VRTGO event. Today Secret Sauce and VRTGO announced that the competition was now open for entries.
The winner will receive the following items.
- Receive free affiliation with VRTGO.
- A chance to exhibit their prototype at the event on November 12th.
- Mentoring and support from nDreams.
- A chance to visit the Project Morpheus team at SCEE for playtests and design discussions.
Runners-up will be able to demo their videogame at the VRTGO after party.
The deadline for entries is Thursday Octiber 1st, after which a panel of judges will make a decision on the winners. The confirmed judges will be Patrick O’Luanaigh (CEO) and David Corless (VP of Publishing) of nDreams, Jed Ashforth (Senior Games Designer) and John Foster (Senior Designer) of SCEE and Phil Scott (Head Of Developer Relations EMEA) from NVIDIA.
