The current Oculus Connect 2 (OC2) conference this week, in Hollywood, California has seen a number of new announcements for the Oculus Touch motion controllers. They were first revealed at Oculus VR’s pre-E3 press conference in June this year, and since then very little has been said about support. The OC2 event has changed that and newly revealed is a trailer for the videogames that support the controllers.
The Oculus Touch controllers now have a sizeable line up of software with titles including: Toybox, Zero Transforms Pulsar Arena, Job Simulator, Medium, I Expect you to Die, Moonstrike by Big Dorks Entertainment, Nimbus Knights from Otherworld Interactive, Epic Games’ Bullet Train, Phaser Lock Interactives Final Approach, Dead & Buried and Surgeon Simulator.
While no price has yet been announced for the Oculus Touch, Oculus VR has given a general release date of Q2 2016, just after the Q1 2016 date for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). Details were very sparse for the HMD with many expecting a price and actual date, but fans will have to wait a while longer.
VRFocus will continue to bring you all the latest news on the Oculus Rift as the details are announced.
