TELEPORTALED Creators Release Passport to Adventure VR Movie

Back in July 2015 VRFocus reported on the launch of a brand new virtual reality (VR) comedy piece named TELEPORTALED from PAVR Media for head-mounted displays (HMDs) such as Oculus Rift, Gear VR and Google Cardboard. The piece mixed elements of sci-fi with humour, starring 3 friends that discover a device that teleports them to different locations with the press of a button. This week sees that team return with another brand new comedy experience for the same HMDs titled Passport to Adventure.

The Youtube version of this new experience can be seen below and can be viewed with a Google Cardboard device via the official Youtube Android app. It stars actress Amanda Lund who serves as a host as viewers are taken through the Huntington Gardens in San Marino, California. Rather than sitting back and enjoying the scenery, however, users follow Lund for just over 4 minutes as she somewhat struggles to sell them on the area’s natural beauty.

Google Cardboard isn’t the only place to catch Passport to Adventure; downloadable versions for the Oculus Rift and Gear VR can also be obtained from an official website. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all VR experiences, reporting back with the latest on them.
