Speakers Announced for Dutch VR Day

Revealed back in early August, is a new 4 day event being held in Amsterdam to celebrate virtual reality (VR) and the one year anniversary of the Dutch VR Meetup. What wasn’t announced at the time was which developers maybe attending and who would be speaking at the event. The speakers have now been announced.

Attending the event will be Carl Addy, Creative Director for Mill+, Karl Woolley, Creative Technologist at Framestore, Jean-Edouard Fages, who won 1st Prize at the Oculus Mobile Game Jam and is a Game designer at Agharta and Ken Bretschneider for The Void. From Silicon Valley will be Arthur van Hoff, CTO and founder of Jaunt and Skip Rizzo is a research professor and the Director for Medical Virtual Reality at the Institute for Creative Technologies of the University of Southern California. He will explain how his team use VR to treat, for example, anxiety disorders.


With the usual meetups only lasting a day, the Dutch VR Day special event will have lots of VR for enthusiasts to enjoy and entry is free to the public on Saturday 31st October for Demo day. It is being held in a large villa in the centre of Vondelpark, Amsterdam, between Thursday 29th October – Sunday 1st November 2015, with tickets for the other days available to purchase here.
