SEA-VR 2015 which is a one day virtual reality (VR) event taking place in Seattle next month has announced more speakers to its line up. As well as new speakers, new exhibitors have been added to the day’s roster.
The additional speakers include Second Life and High Fidelity founder Philip Rosedale, University of Washington professor Dr. Tom Furness, Aaron Frank of Singularity University and Pete Moss, Lead Engineer, Creative Content Studio at Unity Technologies.
In 2014, SEA-VR was a simple demonstration showcase, but now for its 2015 event has expanded into a full day conference. There will be more than 40 exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in VR, augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR), including Envelop VR, Google Cardboard, AltSpace VR and Ximmerse. Plus watch startups pitch their ideas to a “Seattle Shark Tank” of Venture Capital firms Madrona Venture Group and Vulcan Capital.
SEA-VR 2015 will be held on Wednesday, 28th October, at the Maydenbauer Centre, Bellevue, Seattle. Early bird tickets are currently still available until Wednesday 30th September 2015, and those wishing to take advantage of the discounted tickets can do so at SEA-VR’s Eventbright page.
