This week’s pre-Tokyo Games Show (TGS) press conference hosted by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) brought a few new reveals for PlayStation VR (formerly Project Morpheus), including a handful of brand new virtual reality (VR) videogame titles. Following that event, SCEJ has confirmed the full line-up of playable PlayStation VR titles that will appear at TGS this week.
Titles previously revealed include RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, The Playroom VR, Summer Lesson, SEGA Hatsune Miku Project, Cyber Danganronpa VR: Class Trial and Capcom’s Kitchen horror experience. However, new reveals include Joysound VR, Dynasty Warriors 8 VR Demo, Aquarion Evol and a revised edition of Final Fantasy XIV Online from Square Enix. It’s also expected that other first-party titles, such as The Deep and The London Heist will make an appearance at the show.
PlayStation VR is set to launch in the first-half of 2016, and will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4. The fact that new titles are being announced at near-every opportunity reinforces Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE) commitment to VR, which VRFocus will be following every step of the way.
