NVIDIA Opens Public Voting for Tilt Brush Competition Finalists

At the PAX Prime event held at the end of August, graphics card manufacturer NVIDIA teamed up with HTC Vive and Tilt Brush to create an art competition for visitors to the event. On NVIDIA’s Facebook page the company has now opened up public voting for the 6 designs that have been selected for the final.

The Tilt Brush competition winner will get ultimate bragging rights while those who vote will be entered into a competition to win a new GeForce GTX 980 Ti, a graphics card that will support virtual reality (VR) gaming.

Only one prize is available and the winner will be announced on the NVIDIA GeForce social media pages on or around 20th September 2015. Voting began yesterday and the entry period for this contest ends at 6pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) on 19th September 2015. Full details can be found on NVIDIA’s Facebook page or here.

Tilt Brush which was purchased earlier this year by Google, is a popular piece of VR software that allows users to paint three-dimensional brush strokes to create anything they see fit. User’s creations can then be viewed through a mobile app on Android and by using the Google Cardboard mobile head-mounted display (HMD).

VRFocus will continue to report on all the latest news regarding VR as it’s announced.
