Starport creator Otherworld Interactive revealed its new virtual reality (VR) title Nimbus Knights last month with support for the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD). Now the title has been announced at the Oculus Connect 2 developers conference this week in Hollywood, California, with demonstrations available supporting the Oculus Touch motion controllers.
As with other titles revealed recently for Oculus Touch, they have been previously announced for the HTC Vive HMD, which comes with motion controllers provided. The Oculus Rift developers kit doesn’t come with the Touch controllers, and when the HMD launches the motion controllers won’t be provided, a Xbox One controller is packaged with the headset.
Nimbus Knights is a Real Time Strategy (RTS) VR game that appoints players as ruler over the sky kingdom. You can guide your minions from a giant’s point of view or get in close to help them fight their battles one on one. The goal being to defeat the skeleton king and bring peace to the skies.
VRFocus will continue to bring you all the latest news and reveals from the Oculus Connect 2 conference as they’re announced.
