The Namco Bandai Entertainment virtual reality (VR) title, Summer Lesson, which is exclusive to PlayStation VR on Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE) PlayStation 4, has today received a brand new trailer prior to the 2015 Tokyo Games Show.
Summer Lesson is a ‘communication simulator’ designed to use PlayStation VR’s head-mounted display (HMD) head tracking that allows players to nod or shake their to questions the videogames characters ask. The new trailer doesn’t reveal a great deal, and looks to be a slight re-edit of previously revealed footage. The title is due to be at the 2015 Tokyo Games Show and will also be on the PlayStation Live Circuit that is travelling across Japan towards the end of September and into October 2015, alongside five other titles.
The actual likelihood that Summer Lesson will ever receive a commercial release outside of Japan is slim, however it remains an intriguing prospect for the forthcoming HMD, which is due for release in the first half of 2016.
More details of the title may surface towards the end of the week, when the event commences on Thursday. VRFocus will continue to follow anymore VR announcements from the 2015 Tokyo Games Show and PlayStation VR.
