As we know, virtual reality (VR) can be used for many different experiences both for education and entertainment and within each of those descriptions can be found many sub-categories of apps, from the videogame to apps designed to help meditiation, history, travel, etc. For this morning’s trip into the world of new VR we are going to look at a new experience whose VR, for once, does not mean virtual reality. Instead it means ‘virtual record’.
Infinity Equals One VR is a new experience on Oculus VR Share for the Oculus Rift DK2 head-mounted display (HMD) created by Kevin Sang and musician Shaun Oster who performs under the name of Doublehead. Infinity Equals One VR is a free virtual world created for travelling in whilst listening to Doublehead’s debut album. Full of places to explore, secrets to uncover as well as acting as something of a behind the scenes by revealing the influences behind the music.
