Job Simulator, the virtual reality (VR) title by indie developer Owlchemy Labs has recently been revealed to support the Oculus Touch motion controllers for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). Previously support had only been confirmed for the HTC Vive HMD. Now with more news, Owlchemy Labs have released new screenshots for Job Simulator.
In the new screenshots below, Owlchemy Labs have improved the graphics of the title, giving a cleaner, crisper look and generally improved polish to the videogame.
The news of the Oculus Touch support was announced at Oculus VR’s Oculus Connect 2 developer conference in Hollywood, California, this week. Owlchemy Labs hadn’t previously announced the title would be coming the Oculus’ HMD let alone support the Touch motion controllers.
Set in 2050, Job Simulator depicts a world in which robots handle all the work and humans no longer need jobs. So ‘JobBot’ was created to teach humans how to work as a way of remembering their ancestors and history.
VRFocus will continue to follow all the latest announcements for Job Simulator and report back.
