Picselica’s Ocean Rift has been discussed for quite some time now, having first been confirmed for launch on Samsung Gear VR a year ago. Now however, it appears that this release is creeping closer as a new video has been released showcasing brand new gameplay footage.
Originally designed for the PC-based Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD), Ocean Rift will be coming to both desktop and mobile virtual reality (VR) devices. The PC version will reportedly feature many more sea creatures and a better visual fidelity, though until a comparative video is revealed it’s difficult to tell to just what degree the differences will be.
The brand new gameplay footage for the Gear VR version of Ocean Rift follows below. No release date has yet been announced for Ocean Rift on either PC or Gear VR, but VRFocus will of course keep you updated with all the latest details.
