Announced today by the Immersive Technology Alliance (ITA), is the second edition of Immersed 2015, coming to the Ontario Science Centre, Toronto, Canada. The professional conference that concentrates on immersive technologies like virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and stereoscopic 3D. The event covers markets including business, video games, immersive cinema and entertainment, education, broadcasting, and more.
The conference with take place between Sunday 4th – Tuesday 6th October, with Sunday featuring technical workshops and a free exhibition open to the public. Monday and Tuesday will feature industry and career building sessions for industry professionals and entrepreneurs as well as multiple networking opportunities. Companies speaking at Immersed 2015 will include AMD, HTC, InMediaStudio, Starbreeze Studios, Nokia Technologies, O2 Filmes, Christie Digital, Canadian Film Centre, IM360, AWE Company Ltd, with more to come. Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) will be hosting one of the keynotes for this event.
