UK developer Coatsink are regular supporters of international videogame events, appearing at the likes of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Los Angeles, and Gamescom, Cologne, earlier this year. Next on the studio’s agenda however is something a little closer to home, as today its been confirmed that virtual reality (VR) title Esper will be playable at EGX, Birmingham, later this month.
Esper is a VR exclusive puzzle videogame in which the player takes part in experimental trials on persons with telekinetic powers. Your objects begin simple as you take control of balls and move them through pipes, yet rapidly increase in complexity and thus difficulty also. Esper is alreasy available for Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition hardware and has been confirmed as a launch title for the consumer version of the Oculus Rift hardware, releasing early next year.
Coatsink’s line-up for the show includes playable builds of future releases Shu on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in addition to VR exclusive Esper, playable on Gear VR head-mounted displays (HMDs). EGX takes place 24th – 27th September 2015, at Birmingham NEC. VRFocus shall be attending the show and will keep you updated with all the latest VR news from the event.
