CCP Games have long been supporters of the upcoming revival of virtual reality (VR), with EVE Valkyrie often considered the poster child of this new wave. Alongside this Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR title comes a mobile VR videogame, the recently revealed Gunjack, which has today been confirmed to be benefiting from a presentation all of its own at next week’s Oculus Connect 2, Hollywood.
Entitled ‘Gunjack: The Making of a Gear VR Game’, this newly added session will see the development team at CCP Shanghai offering attendees unique insight into the development of Gunjack, noted as a visually impressive mobile VR experience. Built from the ground-up for using Unreal Engine 4, this talk will see CCP Shanghai’s Jean-Charles Gaudechon, Executive Producer & MD, and Kevin Liu, Senior Producer and Creative Lead, speak on the development process which they bill as a ‘roller-coaster’.
This additional speaker session will take place on Wednesday, 23rd September 2015, at 1pm PST. VRFocus will be in attendance at Oculus Connect 2 and keep you updated with all the latest details from the event.
