Last weekend VRFocus reported on the reveal of the first footage for an intriguing new virtual reality (VR) adventure title by the name of EDEN. The videogame, developed by Soul Pix, also managed to impress at its showing at Gamescom 2015 in early August, thanks to a particularly stunning sequence involving alien dinosaurs. VRFocus got the chance to sit down with the studio during the event for an interview that can now be seen below.
In the featured video, Soul Pix owner Frank Sennholz talks about EDEN‘s debut at Gamescom, and what the team hopes to achieve with the first-person adventure title. The experience sees a human crash land on what appears to be an alien planet, with players then able to switch between this character, a robot dog and a flying drone as they explore the strange environment. There’s also mention of a possible release timeframe.
VRFocus will continue to follow Soul Pix’s work on EDEN closely, reporting back with any further updates on the title.
