Earlier in the year at VRLA’s Spring expo, developer Reload Studios officially announced first-person shooter World War Toons for virtual reality (VR) head-mounted displays (HMD). Now the studio has announced it will be returning to the VRLA for this Saturday’s summer expo.
Announcing that the studio will be teaming up with AMD to showcase the latest version of World War Toons at the VRLA summer expo. Visitors will be able to fight it out in the illustrious Moulin Rouge at one of 8 available demo booths . Also players will be able to experiment with a ride-able rocket, radioactive waste, and piano drop power-ups to get the upper hand against enemy players.
World War Toons which is so far the only title that Reload Studios has officially announced, allows players to take part in World War 2-era combat in a competitive VR multiplayer. The title has currently been shown on Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE) Project Morpheus HMD and the Oculus Rift. With the studio partnering with AMD, the booths at VRLA will most likely feature the Oculus Rift HMD.
VRFocus will be at the VRLA Summer Expo and will follow all the latest news from the event and will report on any further updates from Reload Studios.
