Virtual reality (VR) developer Otherworld Interactive, which is the studio behind horror title Sisters and social app Starport has been teasing a new title on its Twitter account which will be available for demonstration at Saturdays, Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) Summer Expo in Los Angeles.
VRFocus previously reported on a teasing shot from the studio that revealed very little. Now the team has taken to Twitter again to announce the title of their newest VR videogame to be Nimbus Knights.
The videogame has an obvious medieval theme, but set within the clouds. Looking like it could be a tower defence style of game for players to battle in the skies, those who are attending the VRLA event will need to email the team at, firstname.lastname@example.org, to reserve a time slot for the show.
Nimbus Knights has been advertised as being solely made for the HTC Vive head-mounted display, and that could well mean that Otherworld Interactive is looking to support features specific to the system. Which includes Valves, Lighthouse, Room Scale user-tracking which allows players to walk around an area of up to 15 feet by 15 feet and see those actions replicated in-game.
The HTC Vive is due for release towards the end of 2015, with HTC announcing official details in October. Otherworld Interactive have yet to say when Nimbus Knights maybe arriving but VRFocus will be reporting on those details as they emerge.
