Welcome to a new week of new things in the world of virtual reality (VR) and we begin not with a videogame, or film or experience but one of the other items you can occasionally find on Oculus VR Share. We begin with a VR tool.
SpaceSys, developed by 3Dea has been designed to work as a VR Operating System Environment, allowing users to call upon a familiar layout to their computer system and not exist from the viewpoint offered by other VR programmes. So you aren’t flicking from your game out of VR, needing to take the headset off to do a task only to go backin and have to get yourself set up again. It is a 3D bridging software. SpaceSys allows you to do every ‘regular’ function you would potentially need to do; moreover it takes your files and folders and creates and extends the virtual world around them, allowing users to an entirely new experience just through basic file organisation.
SpaceSys is compatible with both the Oculus Rift DK1 and DK2 head-mounted displays, is currently looking for success on Steam as a Greenlight title and you can see a trailer for this below.
