We round off the week somewhat inadvertently, with almost the exact opposite of the program we had at this time yesterday. On Thursday we introduced you to Separa VR a government created virtual reality (VR) videogame in which you correctly sorted rubbish and also tied the local area. Today we’re introducing you to a game currently in development called Pack Rat VR.
A prototype sandbox game with numerous hidden objects unlike Separa VR, you’re perfectly at your leisure to make as big a mess as you can. That includes smashing the plates, flooding the sink, sticking knives in the toaster, seeing if the radio will still work underwater tipping the contents of the cupboards all over the floor and setting things on fire. Alternatively you can make yourself a sandwich and pack your suitcase for work like a reasonable person. Whatever you do it is up to you.
The prototype is for the Oculus Rift and you can find more about the creators Korigame here, at their website. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on their progress here at VRFocus and we’ll bring you any further news on their projects as we get it.
For now you can check out the video below and we’ll see you next week for more New To VR.
