Otherworld Interactive debuted their brand new virtual reality (VR) videogame title, Nimbus Knights, at this weekend’s VRLA Conference, Los Angeles. Following the official reveal comes a small selection of brand new screenshots from the title, showcasing the cartoon-style visual design.
Currently being developed exclusively for the forthcoming HTC Vive, Nimbus Knights has so far shown players controlling a large wooden platform with which to move a team of knights from one floating island to another. Each island has enemies to defeat and a flag to capture before moving onto the next island. The player can also alternate between holding a platform to transport your knights to a large wooden stick to prod enemies, slowing them down or knocking them off higher platforms.
Apart from a few screenshots and gifs released, Otherworld has revealed very little about the studios HTC Vive title. Those that were able to go to the Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) Summer Expo in Los Angeles this past Saturday, might have seen the videogame on demonstration but the demos were only available to those that contacted the team by e-mail to signup.
VRFocus will continue to follow any further news and announcements by Otherworld Interactive and report back.
