It’s been a big week for Psytec Games and its upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible dungeon-crawling videogame, Crystal Rift. Not only has the developer updated the Early Access version of its title to support the upcoming HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD), but it’s also confirmed that it will be implementing support for the Oculus Touch controllers for the Oculus Rift later down the line. Now the developer has released a brand new trailer for the title, detailing its many monsters, which can now be seen below.
The brief clip reintroduces many of Crystal Rift‘s core elements, including its first-person gameplay in which players must avoid traps and solve puzzles as well as its much-touted level editor. A number of monsters also show up, including jelly-like globs, mummies and even some that can navigate across lava. Players won’t be defenceless against these enemies, however, as they’ll be armed with a sword that they can wield using the HTC Vive’s position-tracked controller and, in the future, Oculus Touch.
VRFocus will continue to follow Crystal Rift‘s progress closely, reporting back with the latest updates on the title.
