nDreams Release Extended Gameplay Footage for The Assembly

Like many large scale events, Gamescom is when studios across the world get together to show gamers and the press how their projects are progressing before final release. UK based nDreams, a specialist in virtual reality titles has been revealing more information about up-coming title The Assembly, by releasing  gameplay footage.

The Assembly is a first-person experience and as such features a traditional first-person shooter (FPS) style control scheme. Senior Designer Jackie Tetley provides a commentary as the video takes you on a guided tour through the earlier chapters which helps provide deeper insight into the game nDreams is building and the morally-ambiguous world in which it’s set. It shows how the game’s two protagonists – Assembly scientist Cal Pearson and inductee Madeleine Stone – both have their own perspective and goals in the game.

The title will be supporting the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) and as VRFocus has previously reported, there will now be support for Sony Computer Entertainments (SCE) Project Morpheus HMD.

VRFocus will continue to keep you informed of any further news regarding The Assembly at Gamescom.
