Indie developer narayara games is currently running an IndieGoGo crowd-funding campaign for a new virtual reality (VR) videogame by the name of Holodance. The developer hopes to raise $15,000 USD over the next two months in order to bring the title to the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) in 2015, with Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus versions arriving next year. Last week at Gamescom VRFocus spoke to the developer’s Jashan Chittesh about the project.
In the interview below, Chittesh provides some backstory on Holodance, which he describes as a music video that players themselves can enter. He also talks about certain possibilities such as multiplayer and the possibility of using wireless hand-tracking such as the Leap Motion device.
VRFocus will continue to follow Holodance closely, reporting back with any further updates on the title.
