The technologies behind augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) are striving to immerse users in worlds that deliver presence, that ability to trick your mind into believing what you’re seeing is real. What has been created so far has been computer generated, but what if real-life actors were used? That’s the aim of Hong Kong based JetOne Motion with their title The Perfect Hyde: Deadly Yacht.
JetOne Motion have released a teaser trailer for The Perfect Hyde: Deadly Yacht (this was translated so the title may not be 100%), which doesn’t reveal a lot of details but the experience is a detective, crime solving puzzle videogame. Players must uncover clues, discover character motives and find hard evidence to solve murders.
The videogame will be compatible with the OculusRift head-mounted display (HMD) as well as Android and iOS devices, so that will presumably count Google Cardboard as well. No further details on release date or prices are currently available but VRFocus will follow any more updates that are released.
