Atomic VR Reveals Ninja Trainer – Fruitilicious PAX Edition

Atomic VR which develops custom virtual reality (VR) software and hardware solutions, will be at PAX Prime this weekend at the Asus booth to showcase its tethered and un-tethered wearable VR gear. Also revealed by the studio for the event is VR title Ninja Trainer – Fruitilicious PAX Edition.

Ninja Trainer – Fruitilicious PAX Edition which will be making its debut at PAX Prime, is based on the popular fruit slicing videogame, but this time it’s in VR. The title will be supporting the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive head-mounted displays (HMDs). On Atomic VR’s official PAX webpage it states ‘This time, be prepared to move around in full-motion virtual reality’ implying that the videogame will probably be demoed on the HTC Vive, using the Lighthouse Room Scale tracking system. The developer has confirmed that Ninja Trainer – Fruitilicious PAX Edition will be available at the launch of the two HMDs, saying in a statement: “It’s great fun, and will be released with more ninja related activities at consumer launch of Vive, and Oculus.”

Many visitors may also be keen to see Atomic VR’s un-tethered VR systems, which VRFocus reported on when the team revealed its ‘Lightsword experience’ teaser video last month.

VRFocus will continue to report on all the latest news and announcements from Atomic VR on its software and hardware developments.
