ARK: Survival Evolved Update Adds Doedicurus

Studio Wildcard has today revealed a brand new creature coming to ARK: Survival Evolved. As part of a new update available now, players can their hands on the rolling, stone-harvesting, shell-shocked Doedicurus. The latest update also introduces new plant species and a new Spray Painting technique for rapid bulk painting of Structures.

The Armadillo-like Doedicurus can efficiently harvest stone on an industrial scale. It has tremendous defensive protection via its hard shell and, perhaps most importantly, when riding it players can enter “shell-charge” mode and roll through the ARK as a hardened, nearly indestructible ball. This ability is great for rapidly closing the distance towards enemies.
