360 Degree Animation ‘Prismatic’ Revealed

The developing virtual reality (VR) industry keeps attracting new content creators, who in turn make VR more attractive to new users as newer experiences are developed. Now a new 360 degree VR animation video Prismatic has been revealed by new startup QubaHQ.com.

Prismatic is the first independent project created by Quba Michalski, CreativeDirector at QubaHQ, since leaving a position as Creative Director at Autofuss and Google recently. Set to dynamic EDM glitch-hop beat of Drop the Panic by demoscene musician h0ffman, Prismatic features strobing lights and vivid neon visuals. Being rendered in 360 degree stereoscopic VR video, Prismatic is best experienced using a VR head-mounted display (HMD), like the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR or Google Cardboard. The Youtube video below is a 2D autopan to demonstrate what Prismatic is like, for the full downloadable version go to QubaHQ.com.

VRFocus will continue to follow the progress of QubaHQ’s projects into 360 degree VR video and report back any further announcements.
