Reload Studios have today revealed a new tank set to be featured in the forthcoming World War Toons, the Firefly, by way of a new piece of concept art. World War Toons is currently in development for multiple formats and will include virtual reality (VR) support on both PlayStation 4 and PC.
World War Toons is a competitive first-person shooter (FPS) set in a cartoon world. Players are able to morph into a tank with the simple press of a button, and the newly revealed Firefly will act as one of those available to players. The tanks in World War Toons move swiftly, are able to jump and even use ramps for massive height gain, but their use is limited to keep the balance from tipping.
The concept art featured above revealed few details about how the Firefly plays and how – if at all – it differs from the tank models revealed in the World War Toons preview builds. More details on World War Toons are likely to be revealed in the run up to Gamescom, taking place next month, and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest from Reload Studios.
