Totwise Studios have released a new teaser image on Twitter for its up coming virtual reality (VR) sci-fi horror videogame The Hum: Abductions.
The Hum: Abductions casts players as Holly Sanders, who investigates the disappearance of her husband a few months before the title starts. The title is a first-person horror experience that acts as a prequel to Totwise Studios main universe The Hum which last year saw the developer sadly fail a Kickstarter campaign for a main entry in the series.
The new image shows one of the aliens (which has a similar resemblance to the Roswell grey alien design) standing next to window in a bedroom as moonlight shines through the curtains, faintly illuminating the scene.
VRFocus has previously reported that Totwise Studios is planning on releasing The Hum: Abductions on various VR head-mounted displays (HMD) including the Oculus Rift, Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE) Project Morpheus and the Valve-backed HTC Vive.
The studio has revealed a tentative release date of Q3-Q4 2015, in time for the launch of the HTC Vive towards the end of the year, and demo for this upcoming title as well as a new portal for all things The Hum named The Hum Universe is already available.
VRFocus will continue to follow the progress of The Hum: Abductions and further titles in The Hum Universe as they are announced.
