Slightly Mad Studios has released a new downloadable content (DLC) pack for the popular Project CARS, now available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and compatible with the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) on PC. This new DLC, entitled Audi Ruapuna Park Track Expansion, offers the first track expansion for the videogame.
Comprising of 5 unique layouts, Ruapuna Park International Raceway is New Zealand’s premier motor racing facility, located 13 kilometers west of Christchurch, New Zealand. Hosting some of New Zealand’s most exciting racing events, including the prestigious Lady Wigram Trophy and an annual round of the New Zealand V8s series, the track’s main 3.3 kilometre layout runs in an anti-clockwise direction and its challenging layout incorporates many fast sweeping corners that reward smooth and precise drivers.
In addition to the new track, the Audi Ruapuna Park Track Expansion includes the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro, six-time American Le Mans Series winner Audi R8 LMP900 and the 1989 Audi 90 IMSA GTO. Furthermore, all players will additionally receive the coveted Audi A1 Quattro as the videogame’s second free car download. Finally, the second pack of Community Liveries includes a community-created livery for the Ford Escort Mk 1 as well as six real-life DTM liveries for the Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Evolution2.
The Audi Ruapuna Park Track Expansion is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, priced at £4.39 GBP on consoles and £4.49 on PC. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Project CARS and other virtual reality (VR) compatible titles from Slightly Mad Studios.
