Independent UK studio Psytec Games has today revealed some of the progression that has been made with the highly anticipated Crystal Rift. Currently available via Steam Early Access, Crystal Rift will be compatible with both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on PC, with a Samsung Gear VR version also in development.
Designed from the ground-up specifically for virtual reality (VR), Crystal Rift is a grid-based dungeon crawler that demands logical thinking in it’s mazes and a swift hand for it’s combat. In this new screenshot, taken from the latest edition of the videogame, those who have already purchased the videogame via Steam Early Access can clearly see the significant amount of progress Psytec Games are making on the visual side of things.
The version of Crystal Rift currently available via Steam Early Access is compatible with the second iteration of the Oculus Rift development kit, aka DK2, and VRFocus recently went hands-on with the HTC Vive edition of the videogame with a preview soon to follow. Psytec Games are intending to display both of these editions at the EGX event in Birmingham, UK, later this year and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details.
