If any studio made a splash amongst PlayStation 4 fans at last month’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Los Angeles, it was undoubtedly Guerrilla Games. With the reveal of 2 new projects, Horizon and RIGS: Mechanised Combat League, the studio is now looking to up their community focus.
While Horizon is an enticing traditional videogame experience for PlayStation 4, RIGS: Mechanised Combat League is a Project Morpheus exclusive title being developed at Guerrilla Cambridge, the team behind Killzone: Mercenary for PlayStation Vita. VRFocus was present at E3, stating in a preview of RIGS: Mechanised Combat League: “Two matches of RIGS: Mechanised Combat League are enough to leave you wanting more.”
A vacant position looking to hire a Community Management Intern has been posted to the official Guerrilla Games website, and following that a tweet specified that this role is specifically focussed on the recently revealed Horizon and RIGS: Mechanised Combat League. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Guerrilla Games’ virtual reality work and specifically the forthcoming RIGS: Mechanised Combat League.
