There is a rich and growing list of racing videogames in virtual reality (VR) for those keen on experiencing fast action be it in ships such as with Radial-G, more simulation based competition such as you can find in Project CARS whilst other VR racing videogames such as SMS Racing bring additional gimmicks to the genre.
Now another title with VR support planned for both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift head-mounted displays (HMDs) has come to Steam Greenlight.
Formula C, which also plans support for Linux and Mac at full launch in Early 2016, is a futuristic time trial-based racer in which ships compete around a warped, physics-bending course, going hard and fast on straights and drifting around corners with its gliding mechanic. Formula C is complete with its own track editor as well as a selection of pre-made tracks that the Australian developers Eulercode have released a demo for users to try whilst they work on completing the game.
You can watch a video preview of Formula C below and can find out more on their Steam Greenlight page.
