Earlier today VRFocus reported on the announcement of a new Project Morpheus title based on the hugely popular Danganronpa franchise, Cyber Danganronpa VR: Class Trial. Revealed at the currently ongoing Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2015, taking place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the announcement came courtesy of Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong (SCE Hong Kong), and now the official reveal has been recorded for all to see.
A technical demo currently playable on SCE Hong Kong’s Project Morpheus booth at Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong 2015, Cyber Danganronpa VR: Class Trial takes fan-favourite scenes from the first two Danganronpa videogames, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and recreates them in virtual reality (VR) via the PlayStation 4 and Project Morpheus. Players are tasked with uncovering the killer amongst a group of potential suspects.
Whether or not Spike Chunsoft’s technical demonstration of Cyber Danganronpa VR: Class Trial will be made into a full release title is not yet known, but of course VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on this and other Project Morpheus titles.
