Earlier in the year a new indie developer by the name of Reload Studios revealed its first every virtual reality (VR) title in the form of World War Toons, a first-person shooter. Though seen running on the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD), the developer has remaind quiet on which platforms the title will actually support. That’s changed today as Reload Studios has confirmed that World War Toons is coming to Project Morpheus.
The news was confirmed during Sony Computer Entertainment’s (SCE’s) E3 press conference today. World War Toons featured as part of a section that revealed a number of new titles coming to the PlayStation 4’s HMD. The title itself is a World War II-era multiplayer shooter with a cartoon-esque art style in which players face off in deathmatch based experiences.
Project Morpheus itself boasts a 1080p OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. VRFocus will continue to follow the title closely, reporting back with the latest updates on it.
