Broken Window Studios has announced that the forthcoming Reflections, an insightful look upon the impact of an individual on the world around them, will launch via Steam Early Access on PC later this month. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are also in development and will see release this summer.
As with Grave, Broken Window Studios’ other forthcoming release, Reflections will be compatible with the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). At present, there’s no word on whether the Steam Early Access version will support virtual reality (VR) gameplay, however Broken Window Studios state on the Steam Greenlight page for the videogame: “Like everything Broken Window Studios develops, the game fully supports the use of the Oculus Rift.”
“We’re building Reflections to be an entertainment experience that is unique to everyone that plays it,” said Tristan Parrish More, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Broken Window Studios. “There are a lot of people that love sandbox games, and even more that want something different from their game time. We’re building Reflections to be a game that merges the two and delivers gameplay that is truly affected by the player’s unique decisions. If the community embraces this kind of gameplay, we’re confident more titles will be created in this emerging genre.”
Reflections will be available via Steam’s early access program from 26th June 2015, giving players the opportunity to experience the videogame as it is still in development. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Reflections and other forthcoming titles from Broken Window Studios.
