GE and Reel FX’s GE 360 VR Campaign Launches

A new live action virtual reality series GE 360 is being produced by integrated media studio Reel FX. Directed by Kevin Althans, the virtual reality (VR) videos aims to give an unprecedented view of General Electric’s(GE’s) innovative creations and solutions. Covering the creative design and engineering know-how behind a number of showcase products including locomotives, gas turbines and more.

The 360 degree experiences will give an all round viewpoint of facilities and technology in action.

Commenting on the partnership between GE and Reel FX, GE’s Director of Global Content & Programming Katrina Craigwell said: “We’re thrilled to have incredible VR partners to help us ensure our virtual worlds feel every bit as responsive and natural as the real world so we can continue to share the innovative work done at GE.”

The videos are to be made available on both the Milk VR and Oculus VR Share platforms as well as being released on YouTube as a 360 degree video.  You can see a selection of preview images from two of the forthcoming episodes below:
