Following the release of the launch trailer for the latest Elite: Dangerous update, Powerplay, earlier today, the content has now gone live across all servers. Powerplay introduces a number of fixes to Elite: Dangerous and also balances many financial matters.
Having been in beta for a short while, the final release of Powerplay has been greatly anticipated by many Elite: Dangerous players. Following server downtime which begun at 3:30pm BST today, Powerplay is now available as a core part of the Elite: Dangerous experience. At the time of publishing some users are experiencing difficulties in connecting to servers, quite possibly due to demand following the update. If you are experiencing trouble connecting we advise you to check-in with the Elite: Dangerous official forum for additional updates should problems persist.
