Digital Hollywood Fall, the autumn leg of the Digital Hollywood series of events, has revealed the virtual reality (VR) track set to take place this October. Featuring discussions on topics such as film, television, videogames and news broadcasting in VR, Digital Hollywood Fall is likely to become an important event in the 2015 VR calendar.
Taking place from 19th – 22nd October 2015, Digital Hollywood Fall will kick off the VR track, entitled ‘From Sense of Presence to Full Embodiment’, on the very first day. A welcome dinner will be available for attendees prior to a panel entitled ‘The Artistic Creators – Immersive Entertainment & Technologies’, which will address directors, producers, writers and actors looking towards a future in VR. A later panel will discuss ‘The Content Inside VR &AR’, specifically looking at advertising and education.
Also taking place on 19th October will be further sessions, ‘ Types of Enhanced Interaction and Realism’, ‘ The Music Industry – The Sports Industry’, ‘ Mobile – The Interactive Surface for Everyone’, ‘Live Mobile Video’, ‘Social AR and VR’, ‘Advertising VR & AR’, ‘The Technology of VR’, ‘Advanced and Breakthrough Systems’, ‘Education, Training and Entertainment’, ‘Wellness – VR-AR-Mobile’ and ‘Content Development & Production’.
Who will be speaking on each of these panels has not yet been revealed, however the official press release for the event does note that more information will follow soon. Digital Hollywood Fall will take place from 19th – 22nd October 2015, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Marina del Ray, and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on the VR track at the event.
