Caffeine Shots: Incandescent Imaging Release New 4K Images Of Their VR Horror
It has been some time since we have spoken on Caffeine here at VRFocus. However, a series of new screenshots in 4K high definition have been released by Australian-based developer Incandescent Imaging for its now episodic virtual reality (VR) compatible horror videogame .
Built with Unreal Engine 4, and in partnership with the Razer-backed OVRS head-mounted display, Caffeine is a first-person experience set on an abandoned caffeine mining facility in space. Players are tasked with investigating the facility and discovering what has happened as they solve puzzles and avoid traps.
In mid-December last year the developers made the decision to switch development from a single release to a a three-part episodic roll out in order to streamline the game’s delivery to those who had backed it on crowd funding sites.
The screenshots can be found below, click on each to see them at their full resolution.
As noted on each of the screens, Incandescent Imaging will be bringing Caffeine to AVCon in Adelaide this July. VRFocus will continue to follow Caffeine, reporting back with any further updates on the title.
