Virtual reality (VR) can lend itself to many a videogaming genre. Not all may work but with the right ingredients a great videogame can be made. Putting zombies in any videogame will automatically get it a legion of fans, then base it around turn based boardgame mechanics and that’s going to be interesting.
Baboroga is an independent videogame developer based in Chicago, which makes games for all the main mobile platforms, iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Window 8. The current line up includes Zombies!!!, Rockin’ Goat and Spore to name just a few. In a recent tweet Baboroga has photographed an Oculus Rift (DK2) head-mounted display (HMD), possibly in the companies offices, remarking “Hey, here is a thought – how cool would it be to play #Zombies!!! Boardgame using #Oculus? That would be something.”
With no further details, could Babaroga be implying that the company is looking into development for the Oculus Rift HMD, possibly porting Zombies!!! over to the world of VR.
VRFocus will follow any further announcements from Babaroga on Zombies!!!.
