There have been, down the years many famous mice, most of them animated, for obvious reasons. Be it Walt Disney’s Mickey, Don Bluth’s Fievel, Warner Bros’s Speedy Gonzales or Hanna and Barbera’s Jerry. Have you ever considered though how (discounting the adult-sized Mickey) they would see the world? Scurrying around and looking at things from an entirely new angle.
Well, a new exploration app on WEARVR allows you to do just that through the use of virtual reality (VR).
Called House Mouse and designed by Interesting Ted, the videogame places you in a regular home environment but reduced down to the size of a mouse. You can explore the house including the living room, kitchen or even dining room in a world where crossing a room is courting danger and getting onto a table like climbing Everest
There’s plenty to see and lots to explore, so if you’d like to try out the app you’ll require a DK2 version of the Oculus Rift DK2 head-mounted display (HMD). The app is free to download off the WEARVR platform.
VRFocus will continue to spotlight new VR videogames, apps and experiences that you can get for the Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR. Look out for them
