It is a busy time for the video game industry as a whole, with the console market looking to get its second wind of this generation with half an eye on the generation afterwards if rumours are to be believed. Major studios are re-evaluating their position within the market as a whole and, of course, virtual reality is about to hit full force with both the Oculus Rift and Valve-backed HTC Vive on the horizon.
In the run-up to E3 the Unreal team have put up a new blog highlighting a series of Unreal Engine powered games that support virtual reality (VR) devices. In amongst these also appears to be some new in-game screenshots not previously seen. One of these is for Time Machine (also known as Time Machine VR) by Papo & Yo developer Minority Media.
There have been little in the way of details since its announcement in February, although Vander Caballero, CEO of Minority did provide some additional background in the Unreal Engine blog. this new screenshot show clearly a new second prehistoric monster whose biological data Time Machine‘s Monda Muzeo team must capture.
It may very well be that we will get more on Time Machine at E3 itself. VRFocus will continue to bring you updates on it and other VR titles as we get them.
