London’s The Technology Expo will play host to developer workshops for a number of fields at the ‘Emerging Tech Stage’, including wearables, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). Scheduled to take place 5th – 6th October 2015, at the Vinopolis, Bank End, the event will offer a platform for VR developers to showcase their work in interactive installations.
The Technology Expo 2015 is designed to showcase the next generation in technology and innovation. This two day event will feature two dedicated conference tracks focusing on Contextual Technology and AR, as well as free to attend workshops and showcases of VR and 3D Printing within the exhibition. The event will also host The Tech Awards being launched this month, recognising and rewarding emerging tech platforms, as well as early tech adopters.
Current confirmed partners for The Technology Expo include Samsung, Smart Thing, Mediatek, Apache, Metaio and Microsoft. Details of what these companies will be showcasing have not yet been revealed, but in that line-up are two key players in the field of VR.
