UK based independent developer has today released an updated gameplay manual for the high-speed racing videogame, Radial-G. Currently available via Steam Early Access, Radial-G has been developed specifically with virtual reality (VR) in mind, though remains playable on a traditional 2D monitor also.
The latest edition of the manual begins with an introduction to the videogame, including it’s compatibility with the Oculus Rift head-mounted displays (HMDs). Stating that OVR Runtime 0.4.4 is currently needed to run the videogame, the manual also confirms that the existing build of the videogame can be played without a HMD and offers a variety of different camera options suited to this style of gameplay.
Of course, the manual also details the finer aspects of the videogame, such as control methods and gameplay modes. However there is also a section dedicated to ‘Advanced Driving Techniques’ to help players get the best lap times possible.
The manual is available to download in PDF format here. VRFocus has been following Radial-G very closely, most recently getting hands-on with the latest OSVR version of the videogame. VRFocus will continue to keep you updated with all the latest from Tammeka Games, including their recent tease of an entirely new project.
