As is the usual fashion for Gear VR, a new title has crept onto the digital storefront without a whisper. However, this time it’s a videogame from Oculus VR’s own publishing arm: a sequel to Herobound: First Steps, entitled Herobound: Spirit Champion.
Despite being listed as Herobound: Spirit Champion, the official description actually refers to the videogame as Herobound 2. In this sequel the player can choose an avatar with which to explore 4 realms as their attempt to free a series of captive spirits. Each spirit rescued will grant the player a new power through the use of a magical stone. The ultimate goal of Herobound: Spirit Champion is to take these new found powers and confront the evil Spirit of Fire.
Herobound: Spirit Champion, available to download now for Gear VR via the Oculus Home app, weighs in at 335.76MB. The videogame is free, just as it’s predecessor, and is listed as having been developed by Gunfire Games LLC, a Texas based studio. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on the Herobound franchise and other software titles from Oculus VR.
