Following the launch of two new Gear VR experiences earlier this week – Dreamworks VR and nDreams’ Perfect Beach – a new videogame title has arrived for both the Samsung Note 4 and Galaxy S6 models of the head-mounted display (HMD). Hartung Games’ Nucleus is available to download now and does not required a bluetooth control pad to play.
Nucleus is a vector-graphic shooting gallery inspired videogame, comparable to nDreams’ other Gear VR release, Gunner. The player is tasked with defending a central gravity well from an onslaught of asteroids as they approach in a wide variety of movement patterns and attack strategies. The player will also be able to gain power-ups throughout the experience, granting new weapon enhancements or additional lives.
Available to download now, Nucleus is priced at $3.99 USD. The Note 4 version had already been made available but has since benefited from an update which demands that users delete their existing version and reinstall. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Nucleus and other new additions to the Gear VR’s software library.
