Not all experiences on Oculus VR Share are long and complicated explorations, some are merely atmospheric experiences and some are a small part of a much bigger project. Such is the case with the demo now available from Hoot VR, a company currently working on creating a snap-together mobile-based virtual reality (VR) viewer.
This Unity created demo, made as part of a university thesis acts as an introduction to virtual reality for the project but could easily act as an introduction to anyone. The app consisting of a flyby of the moon and Earth with some thought provoking narration as shown in the video below.
If you would like to check it out for yourself ‘Hoot: Welcome To VR’ is available now and supports the Oculus DK1 and DK2.
Check back frequently as VRFocus will continue to bring you the latest from Oculus VR Share.
