Early in the week at VRFocus we reported on another partnership looking into the possibilities of bringing virtual reality (VR) to the world of fashion. After the team up of Jaunt and 7 For All Mankind, Refinery29 announced the series ‘Fashionably Bound‘ specifically for the Milk VR app on Samsung’s Gear VR smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD).
Fashionably Bound aims to promote the idea of a ‘virtual vacation’; becoming immersed in a virtual representation of the various shops, fashions and the lifestyle and cultural elements of a location – be it on the streets or on the beach. As part of the announcement Samsung have released a series of promotional images which we can share with you now.
